DENMARK (by Agata Grosicka) Sixteen very eye-catching foals appeared at this year’s foal show held on June 23/24 at the Blue Hors Dressage Centre in Randbol – eight colts and eight fillies who were selected by the judges.

As always, foals are especially anticipated with much excitement among the Danish breeders and dressage enthusiasts, many of whom made the trip to Blue Hors to see how the individual stallions influence their off-spring.

So far, 2017 has shown to be a year of very good quality. Both Poul Gravgaard and Ole From Christensen, who judged the foals in the Blue Hors championship, agreed that it would be very exciting to follow their progress in the future. Louise Ringsbo, who is part of the Danish Warmblood auction committee, also confirmed their very good quality: "In particular, the foals from St. Schufro and Farrell stand out" – she commented. In fact, Blue Hors Farrell dominated the final of the colt class at the Blue Hors foal championships as the top three were all sired by this six-year-old son of Fürstenball, out of Desert Rose (Dacaprio)...
