52nd Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction
The collection at the 52nd Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction combines quality, conformation and potential. Over 100 foals from performance-tested dam lines and exciting matings are joined by in-foal mares with forward-looking genetics.
Numerous former Verden auction foals are now successful in international sport – impressive proof of breeding with foresight. The eponymous hero is Ebano. The licensed dressage stallion, sold in 2019 from Hans-Joachim Burdorf’s breeding in Verden, is a multiple Polish dressage champion and has already competed three times at the FEI WBFHS Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. His rider and owner, Mateusz Cichon, calls him his ‘once-in-a-lifetime horse’ – and with good reason.
On Saturday, 25 July, the open-air presentation of the foals and broodmares will begin at 12.30 pm. The auction starts at 4.00 pm, also on the outdoor grounds. Bids can be placed live on site, by telephone or conveniently online.
