The 65th Winter Mixed Sales in the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta shone with excellent Oldenburg horses and happy customers. Auctioneer Fabian Kühl gave the international customers a very special Christmas when the Oldenburg showjumpers, in particular, were in great demand.

For the top price of €68,000, a regular Oldenburg customer from Switzerland found a unique Christmas present in Vechta – the four-year-old high flyer Christiano (Christian x Recaro Brillant), bred by Diedrich Fick, “"A four-year-old with great possibilities, a top technique as well as a lot of scope, and the highest motivation made this very interesting youngster so covetous,” exclaimed auctioneer Fabian Kühl.
The second highest price was €48,000 for the beautiful Summer Air (Spartacus x Numero Uno), bred by Bernhard Moss, and exhibited by Yvonne Trojahn, both from Meppen. This brilliant mare comes from a very sport-oriented dam-line and, in the future, she will be moving to the international jumping stable Lindelöw in Sweden, where the young owner will also be trained for top-class sport.
Ranked third in price was the strong-moving Focus (Follow Me OLD x Statesman x Dream of Heidelberg I), bred by Marcel de Wilde from Belgium. The dam, Soraya, is the sister the Grand Prix winner Renaissance Tyme (Royal Diamond) under the saddle of Canadian dressage international Evi Strasser and her daughter, Tanya Strasser-Shostak. The magnificent gelding will move to a prestigious dressage stable in northern Germany for €45,500...CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE TO BREEDING NEWSSUBSCRIBERS CAN READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE BY LOGGING IN AND RETURNING TO THIS PAGE
