A special highlight of the Oldenburg State Championships powered by DERBY was the premiere of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Höven, where the best young mares took the stage in front of a knowledgeable audience and a thrilling atmosphere.

Spontaneous applause and spine-tingling moments made it clear: the combination of top-level sport and first-class breeding thrilled exhibitors and spectators alike.
The title of Champion Mare at the Oldenburg-International (OS) showjumping Breeders’ Association was secured by Rapsody K (2022/OS: Heartbeat - OSHPrSt. Rilana x Colestus x Dinard L x Ramiro’s Son), bred by Hermann Kuck, owned by Bärbel Kuck. Rapsody K comes from an extremely successful mare line: dam, Rilana, was honored as Reserve Champion Mare in 2016, and daughter, Rhena (Ogano Sitte), received the Grand Premium in 2023. Her granddam is elite and state premium mare Rominarda, who was honored in the Brillantring and produced six showjumpers successful up to intermediate level.
Diacarla, (2023/OS: Diathletico - Carla x Concetto x Aldatus x Bucephalos xx), bred by Nils zur Lage, and owned by Hof zur Lage, Bersenbrück, was named Reserve Champion Filly. She, too, comes from a highly successful performance line: Her grandmother, Aldata, is the dam of Lorelli by Lord Pezi – who competed internationally up to three-star S level – as well as his full brother Little Pezi, who achieved international victories up to 1m60.
The 1c premium was awarded to Scalina (2022/OS: El.H. Casallco - Sweet Martini x Stalypso x Convoi x Janos), bred and owned by Madlen Käter-Siemer. Dam, Sweet Martini, was herself successful in L-class showjumping competitions with her breeder. Grandmother Conny P produced the showjumping mare Enya – who placed up to advanced level – out of Exmiras...
