For the past year the Westfalian Studbook has been hosting its own podcast. After more than 40 episodes and 65,000 Downloads in more than 70 countries, the first English episode has been released with breeding director Thomas Münch talking about the basic knowledge of Westfalian horse breeding.

In this English podcast, host Britta Knaup talks with guests about the tasks of the Westfalian Studbook, how to find the right stallion for the mare, what happens behind the scenes at the Westfalian auctions, and about Westfalian horse breeding in general. Guests include, among others, employees of the Westfalian Studbook, breeders, stallion owners, studfarm managers, as well as riders of Westfalian horses.

The podcast is released globally and can be streamed on all platforms. More podcasts in English are planned, with the second part including profiles of special horses and their respective pedigrees.
