The second edition of KWPN's online auction for three and four-year-old potential sport horses has now closed. New this year was opening the door to four-year-olds, with Mocca becoming the price topper at €30,000 who will be returning to a customer in the Netherlands.

The most expensive showjumper was the Herald III daughter Miola VHS, who will also remain in the Netherlands for €18,000. Three horses will, however, travel together across the Atlantic to Canada, while others were sold abroad to Hungary, Germany, Sweden, the United States, and Bulgaria.

On behalf of his sales team, Wim Versteeg said; “It was the first time that we have organized this auction in this period. The auction was successful and we are delighted to have again many foreign buyers. The auction was a mix of three- and four-year-old dressage and showjumping horses. There is a great demand for both age groups and there will be a follow-up to this auction in August, which will certainly be interesting because it is expected that several horses will be selected out of the inspection season."

In total, 62% of the horses sold in this auction will move abroad, and overall the lots raised an average of over €11,158.
