The Trakehner Young Horse Championships 2020 will take place on July 25/26 in the Westphalian Horse Center in Münster-Handorf and in the neighboring Westphalian Riding and Driving School. Organized by the Trakehner Tournaments Association (TTG), the schedule with a total of 13 exams is now online at www.nennung-online.de and www.trakehner-verband.de. The closing date for entries is July 3, 2020.

The four riding horse tests for three- and four-year-old Trakehners focus on the titles of the Equitop Myoplast Riding Horse Champions 2020 and the Trakehner Sports Commission names the nominees for the Bundeschampionate of riding horses from the results.

The Trakehner dressage horse champion is determined from the results of the two dressage horse tests in classes L and M, the Trakehner all-terrain horse champion from the all-terrain horse test class A** or the all-terrain horse test class L. Taking into account the 'corona-adapted' qualification paths for the young eventers, this year the dressage tests for classes A and L and the jumping tests for classes A** and L are also advertised as partial qualifications for Warendorf. As is traditional at the Trakehner Bundesturnier in Hannover, the popular aptitude test with the terrain part also starts at the Trakehner Young Horse Championship in Münster-Handorf. A combined evaluation for four to six-year-old Trakehner youngsters is also on offer, which is made up of the results of the class A dressage, show jumping and off-road horse tests.

The preliminary schedule schedules the dressage and cross-country horse tests for Saturday, July 25, the showjumping horse tests and the Equitop Myoplast riding horse championships for Sunday, July 26.

Saturday evening is all about the Trakehner Elite Foal Auction. Auctioneer Thomas Münch will auction around 20 top foals of the current year. Like the tournament, the auction is planned live and online as a hybrid event.
