Summer, sun, great atmosphere… At the 30th ‘Festival of Horses’ at the spacious Immenhöfe equestrian center owned by the Frese family in Donaueschingen, top foals with internationally sought-after genetics once again attracted considerable buyer interest.

Immediately following one of the tournament's sporting highlights, the S**-level show jumping competition at 1m45 with a jump-off, the DSP youngsters, under the ‘High Flyers’ motto made their grand entrance. And the showjumping competition alone was top-notch advertising for the subsequent auction. Second place in the highly competitive field – a leg of the BW-Bank Indoor Championship, and thus a key factor in qualifying for its final at the German Masters in Stuttgart’s Schleyer Hall – went to Tina Deuerer riding DSP mare Bibi Pennylyn. This eight-year-old grey mare, bred at Gestüt Elstertal, made her major debut eight years ago in this very arena as an auction foal from the then-existing ‘High-Flyers’ collection. It couldn’t have been staged better.
The atmosphere was already excellent at the start of the evening auction, which turned into an entertaining event with a show-like atmosphere. And because they know exactly what these high-flyers can achieve in the sport, the Deuerer family secured the first foal from the collection, a filly by Uricas van de Kattevennen out of a mare by Emerald van het Ruytershof. Bred by Frank Timmreck, the sporty young filly is a representative of the dam line of the German Champion DSP Cashmoaker and will also be grey...
