As tradition suggests, Swedish Warmblood’s inspection goes out onto the country’s roads to vacuum for the nuggets of gold that will build the collection of foals for this year’s elite foal auctions.

The team includes a videographer, a photographer, handler, and the two selection generals – Anderas Jönsson and Johan Ifverson. This year, however, the duo becomes a trio with the addition of jumping expert Helena Torstensson.
According to SWB’s CEO, Helén Uddefors; “We are very pleased with the recruitment of Helena. Her experience and routine in both Swedish and international breeding and sport means that we can raise our auctions to another level, which is a prerequisite for us to be able to compete with other foal auctions around Europe.”
Helena Torstensson, who today works at Helsingborg's equestrian and animal health high school, has a vast track record when it comes to, above all, international showjumping, stallions, and the diverse bloodline combinations that contribute towards the type of offspring.
Following a riding role at Flyinge, she continued to Paul Schockemöhle in Germany, where she worked both as a training rider and competition rider and then continued with her own business before the crow once again flew back to Flyinge. For 10 years Helena was then site manager and the spider in the web for the stallion and semen station PS Flyinge & Partners, a branch of Schockemöhle's German operations.
