Friesian breeding stallions up to the age of 12 standing in the Netherlands are not only all released in sport (excluding the new batch), there is also another Friesian breeding stallion active at the highest level of the Big Tour in dressage, namely Matthys 504.

In this annual survey, it is also noticeable that more stallions are in harnesses again, especially in the Limit Class.
For the seventh year in a row, Phryso lists the achieved sporting results of Dutch-based Friesian stallions up to 12 years old with a breeding licence. This year, there are no fewer than 36, including 31 stallions that were also on last year’s list. One stallion dropped out because he is now older than 12, this is Gerben 479. Likewise, Yme 507 disappeared from the list but for a very sad reason: the stallion had to be euthanised last September. Meanwhile, Siert 499 has been castrated, and Mees 497 is on hold.
Another four stallions are no longer on the list because they have moved abroad. Omer 493 and Ulbrân 502 left for the United States, Rommert 498 continues his career in Mexico, and Beant 517 also left for this address. After this breeding season, four-year-old Jimte 533 will also leave for Finca Sanro but, for now, however, he remains listed as one of the seven stallions of the new batch approved last year...
