The final evaluation for the approval of three-year-old Selle Français stallions took place very recently at the Saint-Lô Equestrian Center, at the heart of the brand-new “Rendez-Vous des Prodiges” (Meeting of Prodigies) event

For 10 days, around 50 three-year-old stallions participated in the various training and evaluation sessions of the testing program, supervised by our teams.
Entrusted to our test riders, who were meeting them for the first time one week before the event opened, the horses followed a uniform program, both on the flat and over fences, under the watchful eyes of experts Serge Cornut (a Barcelona 1992 Olympian), Julien Mesnil, and Manuel Godin.
This identical protocol for all the horses allowed them to progress and be evaluated on an equal footing, revealing their aptitude for equestrian sports.
This rigorous preparation culminated with a final ridden showjumping assessment, before the Selle Français judges and the team of expert riders, which this year comprised Jean Le Monze, Corentin Derouet, Thomas Carlile, and Nicolas Touzaint.
In the end, it was Melting Meni Charm, a son of Pegase van’t Ruytershof, and a paternal grandson of Comme il faut, who won everyone over, finishing ahead of Marioupol BRL, a son of Stakkatol. The podium was completed by Monaco de Riverland (Bresil de Riverland)...
