SF auction event for young mares concludes

1755

Following the first Selle Français championship auction held after the foal competition last month, the event for mares closed yesterday.

The success and feedback from this second sale served to strengthen SF desire to further develop a project to help with the marketing of championship products. This service has confirmed interest and responds to a real demand and need from breeders in the marketplace, and during an ultra-competitive sales period. It was, therefore, to the great satisfaction of the auction teams that these end-of-championship auctions resulted in very worthwhile sales.

A notable moment was the sale of Hermione de Rance (Captain Semilly SF - Hermine du Chateau SF x Bacus de Nouvolieu SF), bred by Roland Le Fustec, who sold for €16,500 will soon be flying to the United States.

Other mares from popular sires such as Contendro and Mylord Carthago also sold well, with online bidders registering from Italy and Mexico.

Talks regarding the planning of future sales of this type are ongoing.
