The second edition of the Dutch Eventing Young Horse Trials will take place in Renswoude on Saturday, July 4. The inaugural edition on May 30 was followed online by almost 9,500 viewers, with particular interest coming from France, Germany and the UK. Tomorrow, July 4, a total of 56 young eventing horses will start.

"We've had a lot of compliments from abroad, and that's really nice to hear," says initiator René van der Leest. "We set up the competition in order to be able to offer a good training process to the best of what we breed here in the Netherlands. And to put them in the spotlight so that breeders, riders and owners have a great showcase. Judging by the number of people from various countries who watched, it looks like we are increasingly achieving our goals. It's also nice to see that a number of owners have already registered their young horses for the ET Auction Dutch Eventing Edition in October."

Saturday's edition, on July 4, will be available through live streaming, with commentary in the hands and voices of Dick Stuip (Military Boekelo) and René van der Leest.
