Prominent placings for BH horses during WEF, Wellington

The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington is in full swing, and BH (Brazilian Sport) horses are making their mark at this prestigious event. During the 13 weeks of competition, running from January to March, WEF is recognized as one of the longest and most coveted circuits in the world of showjumping.

During the third week of the Winter Equestrian Festival, Luciana Lossio and her Brazilian partner Lady Louise Jmen (Landario Jmen x Calisco Jmen), bred by Haras Agromen, shone in the Grand Prix NetJets, securing second place for Brazil in a fiercely contested competition. With a meticulously designed course, the pair demonstrated exceptional technical skill and unmatched harmony, securing a prize of $43,000.
Additionally, Brazilian rider João Eduardo Carvalho made his international debut at WEF riding the Brazilian horse HST Cartouche (Carthoes-B Z x Chester Z), bred by Haras Santa Therezinha, showing promise and skill during a 1m40 class.
Another highlight was Danna RJ (Quiz Time x Candidus), bred by Haras RJ, which stood out in several competitions, including finishing with an impressive fourth place in the Junior category at 1m30 ridden by American showjumper Mary Rose Canterbury.
At WEF 3, Brazilian rider Luiz Francisco de Azevedo and HFG Quaman (Diamant de Semilly x Quidams Rubin), bred by Haras FG, successfully completed the 1m50 competition, while Eduardo Pereira de Menezes and Zilouet Mystic Rose (Balou du Rouet x Chin Chin), bred by Haras Rosa Mystica, secured fifth place in the 1m40 class during WEF 5...
