Due to the worsening Covid situation in Germany, managing director and auction manager Roland Metz and his team have decided to hold the third Holsteiner Winter Chance on December 12 online – starting tomorrow (December 10) at midday with the first bids for some 35 candidates.

Final bidding will commence at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 12 (CET). At 10:00 a.m. that morning, the horses will be presented 'live' once again in the heated Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle. "Spectators, provided they have been vaccinated or recovered, are cordially invited to visit Elmshorn on December 12," explains Roland Metz.

The selected horses in the collection include, for example, a daughter of Brantzau x Casco, who has won several jumping competitions up to 1m10 and can boast placings up to 1m20: the five-year-old I Lona bears catalog number 3.

The relatives of catalog number 25 also give hope for a sporting future: Blads (Casall x Alcatraz) descebds from a mare who was victorious in riding horse tests and gave several showjumpers up to 1m45.

The entire collection can be viewed with pedigrees, photo and video material at holsteiner.auction. Roland Metz (phone: +49 171 4364 651, email: rmetz@holsteiner-verband.de) will be happy to answer all questions about the auction and of course about the horses themselves.
