In less than four weeks the Holstein horses will finally move back into the Holstenhallen in Neumünster on the occasion of the licensing and elite riding horse auction, with the three- to five-year-old riding horses and stallion candidates now available for viewing online.

This year's catalogue is once again strongly influenced by the Cor de la Bryère line: with Casall presenting his own, as well as offspring of his sons and grandsons.  Cor de la Bryère is also represented by three sons of Cornet Obolensky, with the L line presenting three stallions who have Livello or Larimar as their sire.

Diamant de Semilly will also be present with his sons and grandsons, providing the desired variety of blood with Diarado, Dominator Z, and Denver. Outcross stallions like Emerald van het Ruytershof, I’m Special de Muze, and Manchester van’t Paradijs are further contenders, all of whom could provide interesting blood alternatives. According to breeding manager Stephan Haarhoff; "This year the stallion lot is more diverse than ever before as we were presented with many very modern horses with fast and capable jumping."

The stallions and around 45 elite riding horses can now be viewed with pedigrees, photo and video material at holsteiner.auction. From October 10, the X-ray images and veterinary examination results will also be available. Managing director and auction manager Roland Metz explained; "Due to the great demand from exhibitors in recent years, in 2021 there will for the first time be the option of not making the decision to sell a stallion until the Friday evening after free jumping. That means more flexibility for everyone involved.”

E-mail: rmetz@holsteiner-verband.de, who will be happy to answer questions about the auction and of course about the candidates themselves.

Advance ticket sales
Thanks to the current state ordinance of Schleswig-Holstein, spectators can again be welcomed in Holstenhallen von Neumünster this year. However, in compliance with the 3G regulation: all visitors must be vaccinated, tested, or recovered. Advance ticket sales will begin shortly; further information on this and the event itself will be published at www.holsteiner-verband.de.
