Hilltop Farm announces the death of stallion Olivi

Bred by Hans and Lia Ligtvoet, KWPN stallion Olivi (Jazz x Aktion x Transvaal) has died at the age of 27.

Olivi was Reserve Champion of his KWPN stallion selection, earning scores of 8.0 for walk, trot, and talent as a dressage horse. His competition record includes placings in the PAVO Cup Finals, the French Young Rider Championships, and at the CDI Grand Prix level, showed by Feebch rider Marc Boblet. In 2010, Olivi was awarded Keur status by the KWPN based on his exceptional production record.

For KWPN two Olivi sons stallions have baan approved, the late UB40 (out of Kilucienne keur pref prest x Michelangelo, breeder A.J. van Os), and Universeel (out of Igata x Zuidhorn, breeder G.A. Post).

Olivi sired GP dressage horses Triviant (Diant pref prest x Saluut, breeder J. Beets) and shown by Matthias Alexander Rath;  One Night Stand (Linda keur prest x Ferro, breeder W. Verdellen), shown by Fie Christine Skarsoe; and Benzi Landro (TTT Landra prest prok x Inspekteur, breeder A.J. Knaap), shown by José Antonio Garcia Mena. His son Ucelli T (out of Prima Donna T x Gribaldi, breeder H.J. Tüss) as a five-year-old won the PAVO Cup and was a silver medal winner at the WBFSH young horse championships shown by Hans Peter Minderhoud.
