Three DSP horses successful at the CCI5* in Kentucky – marking a good omen for the DSP Eventers' Auction on May 13, 2023 – taking place at the CCI4* Marbach.
DSP reference Maibaum (Lorendano x Leonie; breeder Günter Gerling, Mihla) celebrated victory at the Land Rover CCI5* in Lexington, Kentucky with Tamra Smith (USA). Two other DSPs were also placed in this classic competition: Quantum Leap (Quita Capitol x Corporate Report xx; Elisabeth Calahan), ridden by Doug Payne (USA), and FE Lifestyle (Leo von Faelz x Brandenburger; Danny Arnold, Gardelegen), with Jennie Saville (USA)
One of the most successful DSP’s in eventing has been Michael Jung's fischerRocana (Ituango xx x Carismo; Mirko Glotz, Schönberg) – the only horse to win this prestigious CCI5* Kentucky three times in a row, in 2015, 2016, and 2017. Second place in 2018 completed the amazing success story of fischerRocana and Jung in Kentucky.
