Only three lots were needed to get the evening off the ground, and the quality of the jumpers on offer ensured that the pace was maintained. 

The very good overall impression is reflected in the figures: sales of €860,000 over €676,000 in 2022; 23 of the 28 lots sold to new owners, including nine for export at a price of €273,000. 

The top price for three-year-olds went to the exceptional jumper Kuroo d'Aunou by Untouchable 27, who joins the stables of the Haras du Fougeray et du Reverdy, which was also very active with the purchase of the promising Kasall du Bidou (Casall) and Keep Well (Contendro). 

On the foal side, René Lopez didn't want to leave anyone else with the project of raising Crack Blue d'Altenbach (Chacco-Blue), a full brother to his crack Kheros van't Hoogeinde. 

From Argentina to Saudi Arabia, via the United States and Mexico, this rhythmic first evening bodes well for a highly international 35th edition which will be followed tonight from 7.30pm at the Espace Rozier in Bois-le-Roi.
