A total of 25 young talents from the 2025 vintege were presented for sale during the online auction. In addition to the 20 dressage-orientated riding horse foals, five pony foals completed the lot. The most sought-after foal was Fanegro son Fargo who was knocked down for €21,500.
In the 92nd online auction of the Westfalian Studbook, 20 dressage-orientated riding horse foals were up for sale, with the first foal advancing to the top price of the evening. The strong-moving son of Fanegro from the Beckmann stallion station delighted customers from near and far. Eleven bidders battled it out for the chestnut colt, who was bred by Hermann Zumvenne, Senden, out of Fagira x Fiorano. Customers from Germany had the most stamina and won the final bid at €21,000.
Head number 4, Ballerina Meyer (breeder and exhibitor: Bernhard Ilting-Reuke, Borken) was also very popular. The young filly codescends from a famous damline. Her dam, St.Pr.St. Senorita Meyer (Sir Donnerhall), is none other than the direct dam of former Bundeschampion Fynch Hatton. She also produced four other licensed stallions. The virtual hammer fell this evening for her daughter by Bonds at €15,500 in favour of customers from a renowned training stable in Baden-Württemberg...
