The fact that the Holstein association facility in Elmshorn is ideally suited for extensive events was proven with the first-ever licensing last winter, and will soon host the first major outdoor event of the year.
From June 13-16, 2024, friends of the Holstein horse and athletes from all directions will come together as part of the Holstein Horse Days.
There is a lot to offer spectators in Elmshorn: the state championships for four- to seven-year-old showjumping horses, five- and six-year-old dressage horses, as well as qualifications for the Federal Championships for riding horses that enrich the program alongside other top-class tests in courses and arenas up to advanced level.
The event kicks off with dressage tests on Thursday, June 13. On Friday, June 14, the dressage state champions will be crowned and the first qualifiers for the jumping athletes will take place. In the late afternoon, the presentation of the lot from the riding horse auction, an S*-level showjumping event, and the welcome evening to put you in the mood for the varied weekend.
On Saturday morning (June 15), after exciting final tests, the four- and seven-year-old state champions will be honored, and at midday the Herbert-Blöcker-Platz belongs to the auction foals, which will be presented live before both riding horses and foals go up for auction in the early evening. Concluding the evening will be a more difficult obstacle course, and athletes will swap riding pants for shorts for a volleyball tournament, when fame, honor and high-quality prizes are at stake...
