Cardento has taken home the title every year since 2013. Last year, Diarado (Diamant de Semilly x Corrado I) was named Stallion of the Year, and this year he remains on his throne.

Diarado has been awarded as Swedish Warmblood Stallion of the Year for the second consecutive year. He has 401 SWB-registered offspring, with 85 shown at young horse tests, 17 at riding horse tests, and 160 having competed. Diarado was awarded the Elite status in 2019 for his excellent inheritance in SWB. Seventeen offspring have competed in high level showjumping, with Diarado's Rose ELiTH, After Eight, and Tornado in 1m60 classes, plus Hästkullens DiMarabou, Dior CC, Mr Vain GJ, Disa DM, and Diarado's Love ELiTH in 1m50 classes. He has another nine SWB offspring in 1m45 showjumping.

Diarado has also produced five approved sons for SWB. Daquar CC 1236, Diero Lux N 1280, and Mr Vain GJ 1234 have all competed themselves at 1m50 as well as being awarded Elite status for their inheritance. Dylan N 1312 and Rimaro van de Looise Heide 1434 are two other sons approved for Swedish breeding. Diarado ranks 12th in the WBFSH showjumping sire rankings, and first in eventing.

The criteria for SWB Stallion of the Year are:

• A stallion who, through the international success of his offspring, has demonstrated his inheritance of performance traits.

• A stallion active in Swedish breeding.

• A stallion can be awarded posthumously.

• A stallion can receive the award more than once.
