The outstanding 14-year-old Trakehner-bred mare TFS Dalera BB (Easy Game x Handryk, bred by Silke Fass) carried Jessica von Bredow Werndl to a German dressage national championship title scording no less than 93,025%. Showing the ultimate in relaxation and confidence, this pair relegated the mare considered to be the best in the world, Bella Rose (Bellisimo x Cacir AA, breeder Heinrich and Wilhelm Strunk), and Isabell Werth (90,975%) into the runners up spoty.

The podium was completed by Dorothee Schneider and 15-year- old Hannoverian gelding Showtime FRH (Sabdro Hit x Rotspon, bred by Henrich Wecke) (89,775%).

Trakehner mare Dalera BB is owned by Swiss five-star Grand Prix judge Beatrice Bürchler Keller who chose well in giving the ride to Jessica von Bredow-Werndl having recognized her friendly and harmonious way of keeping and riding her horses.

Team chef Monica Theodorescu was delighted with the results as all combinations performed remarkably well despite the lack of competition due to Covid-19 – which Werth had mentioned. (CvA)
