CWHBA impressive stallion licensing quality

Once again using the video format, seven stallions were evaluated from Alberta and BC, with six being licensed and one asked to re-present next year.

The inspection panel included Hakan Wahlman (Finland), Chris Gould, Janine Olson, Jennette Coote, plus onsite inspectors Marilyn Powell (BC) and Cathy Chalack (AB). Chair Janice Tyndall provided oversight and Victoria Kendall acted as Secretary

The champion stallion title was awarded to Messi AO (Zambesi - Gilona AO x Zavall VDL) owned by Brittany McCully, who was described as 'modern, attractive, and athletic, with very good scope and gallop. Correct, with good gaits to complement his powerful juming ability).

Also licensed: Top Gunn (Numero VII x Billy Autumn); Rip'n Rio (Grande - Fox In The Field x Feinschnitt II van de Richter); Canduri Z (Cornet Obolensky - Casha van de Kornelishoeve x Toulon); Leviathan GET (Vienna DG x Contango); Joey (Vleut - Haifa des Cresles x Rosire).

The quality of stallions presented was impressive; two being Canadian Warmbloods which is a well-deserved compliment to our Canadian breeders.
