Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the FEI-WBFSH dressage WBCYH for five-, six-, and seven-year-old horses was postponed from August to December 9-13 in Verden, Germany. Having already taken the decision that that the event must be run behind closed doors at the Niedersachsenhalle, the authorities in Germany have now announced that everyone who wishes to ender Germany must be able to present a negative corona test no more than 48 hours old. Therefore, riders, grooms, veterinarians, etc., crossing the border into Germany must provide a negative test result.

Additionally, everyone has been strongly advised to keep themselves informed of their own country's health and travel conditions that may impact their homeward return from Germany.

World Breeding News has already heard from a few studfarms in Europe that have reported family or staff members who have tested positive to the virus, so it's vital that everyone remains ultra cautious and highly vigilant, especially in outbreak areas.

Stay well and safe....
