The team for the Elmshorn Holsteiner Foal Days scheduled for August 19/20 has created an extraordinary concept with Auction ’n Concert, presenting a combination of their elite foal sale alongside a special musical concert.
In describing the idea behind this new event, Holsteiner Verband marketing director Felix Flinzer explained; “We consistently pursue a concept that will imbue our auctions with some ‘event’ feel. It’s not only horse fanciers and clients we would like to invite and welcome to Elmhorn to enjoy the day, but also families and music lovers from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg – with performers like Stefan Mross, Safiya, and Marc Terenzi... a guarantee for good vibes. A cocktail bar and food trucks will provide delicious food and drinks, while a bouncy castle will cater to the youngest guests.
Felix Flinzer and his team have been able to secure 67 lots for the elite auction sale on Saturday, August 19, and the collection definitely lives up to the elite name, with proven sires and sought-after young stallions ranging from ‘A’ like Askari, to ‘Z’ like Zirocco Blue presenting their offspring. The lots from top Holsteiner mare families are by Connor, Clicksem, Dinken and Uriko, and also by Charaktervoll, Chaccothage Blue, Keaton, and Vigado, to name just a few. A true rarity among the foals who will go on the auction block is a son of the legendary Carthago. Photos and videos of the lots along with extensive information on relatives’ performance will be available for online viewing on www.holsteiner.auction in good time for the auction...
