National Youth Championships gathers best Anglo Arabs

Humasah HZ AA – bred by Diana Zuber-Krzywonos second vice champion of three-year-old fillies

Traditionally, in mid-June, the National Youth Championship of the Małopolska (PZHK m) Horse Breed took place at the State Stud Farm of Arabian Horses in Białka, in the far south of Poland, close to the Slovakian border.

The championship is one of the oldest exhibition and breeding events in Poland and was held June 13-14 for the 29th time. A total of 55 horses were entered in the catalogue, of which 49 were presented for evaluation before the judges’ committee in six classes.

Yearling fillies

First place among yearling fillies with a score of 82.57 was taken by Hidevran HZ AA m (Caccini xx - Hi Business Class AA m x Business xo) bred and owned to Diana Zuber-Krzywonos. This spirited filly received high marks for type and movement, demonstrating relaxation and a good rhythm. Second place was claimed by Escalada AA m (Szkrab m - Emelia m [AA] x Awans m [AA]) bred and owned by Janów Podlaski National Stud Farm, who was both feminine, attractive, and very well developed, with outstanding movement.. Third place went to Figa W m (Lascar m [AA] - Figura m x Dere m) bred and owned by Grzegorz Wysocki. She was of a good type, displaying attentiveness in her movement, diligent, and working well through her entire body, although it has to be mentioned, slightly stiff in the walk.

Yearling colts

In the class for yearling colts, first place belonged to handsome Ascalon AA m (Szkrab m - Assaba AA m x Eklog m [AC]) with a score of 82.70 points. The dark bay colt was bred by and belongs to by Janów Podlaski National Stud Farm. This attractive colt impressed with a very good, elastic trot and showed good engagement of the hindquarters in the canter.
Second place went to the one bred and owned by Andrzej Drabik – Baressu AA m (Caccini xx - Baretta AA m x Elaborat m[AA]). Tall, free-moving and ground-covering in all three gaits, and with a very good trot.
Finishing third was was Elstelar AA m (Cestuy La de l'Esques xo - Emblema m [AA] x Chestnut Park Allthat Jazz xxoo) bred and owned by Janów Podlaski National Stud Farm. This very elegant colt demonstrated a very good trot that was elastic, active, and ground-covering...
