The 55th Holsteiner Stallion Licensing is fast approaching. On December 11/12, the Holsteiner Verband's facilities will be all about the stallions of the 2023 crop and the riding horses of the elite auction.
The commission, led by breeding director Stephan Haarhoff, has approved 53 stallion candidates. Their first appearance will be on Thursday, December 11th, starting at 10:00 a.m. with the inspection on firm ground. This will be followed by the first of two free jumping rounds, before the second free jumping round takes place on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. From 4:00 p.m. onwards, the excitement will build with the walk-throughs, the licensing decision, and the emotional highlight of the licensing: the proclamation of the 2025 champion stallion.
The evening will conclude with the auction of the licensed and unlicensed stallions – for the first time in the new setting of the historic riding hall. Customers, exhibitors, and visitors can look forward to a truly special atmosphere. The list of stallion candidates, along with information on their availability for sale, is now available online.
Elite riding horses also already online
In addition to the stallions, the elite riding horse auction has once again been included in the event program. The auction team, led by Managing Director Felix Flinzer, has selected 25 offerings of outstanding quality. This auction will take place on Thursday, December 11th. Its first public presentation will be held on Monday, November 24th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle and will also be broadcast on ClipMyHorse.tv.
