Rendez-vous des Prodiges | 9–11 December 2026 | Saint-Lô, France
From 9 to 11 December 2026, the Selle Français Stud-Book invites the international breeding and sport horse community to the Pôle Hippique de Saint-Lô, Normandy, for the Rendez-vous des Prodiges. Bringing together young stallion selection, outstanding mare families and opportunities to exchange knowledge, this three-day event offers a compelling reason to visit the heart of Selle Français breeding.
For breeders, riders, owners and industry professionals, it is an opportunity to assess young horses in person, explore bloodlines and meet the breeders shaping the next generation. The programme combines the two-year-old colts’ championship, the approval of three-year-old stallions at the conclusion of their performance testing, the annual Selle Français symposium and the “Lignées de Prestige” showcase, celebrating three-year-old mares from distinguished dam lines.
Three days of breeding, selection and discovery
The provisional programme will begin on Wednesday 9 December, with the annual Selle Français symposium in the evening.
Thursday 10 December will feature the first group of two-year-old colts, with movement and conformation assessments in the morning and loose jumping in the afternoon. Three-year-old mares will take centre stage for a loose-jumping presentation at lunchtime. The evening programme will honour these mares and feature jumping presentations by the first group of three-year-old males.
On Friday 11 December, the second group of two-year-old colts will undergo movement and conformation assessments in the morning, followed by loose jumping in the afternoon. The day will also include the approval ceremonies for three-year-old and two-year-old stallions. Jumping presentations by the second group of three-year-old males will bring the event to a close in the evening.
