According to Lars Mayer zu Bexten, following the Holsteiner young stallion presentation in Elmshorn on May 1: “I found a high level of uniformity among horses with very good rideability, and many of the stallions really impressed me in the jumping.”
A Nations Cup rider, former national coach, and internationally sought-after trainer, Lars Meyer zu Bexten was also happy to provide commentary on the stallions during the Holsteiner Verband stallion presentation, and did not regret his trip from Herford to Elmshorn, adding; “I came here with very high expectations, and I must say that they were even exceeded.”
On this special day, the team from the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH invited breeders and interested parties to view the three- to seven-year-old Verband stallions at the Herbert-Blöcker-Platz. Meyer zu Bexten was also full of praise for the Elmshorn riders: “The team that Felix Flinzer has assembled here is doing an outstanding job. Lucas Wenz, Arne van Heel, and Mathies Rüder are three very different riders who complement each other perfectly. They perform equally well at a high level, as they did here with the stallions, some of them very young. One can only hope that this path continues,” he said...
