Selle Français offers stallion visibility for 2021 breeding season

In 2021, the Selle Français studbook is offering an opportunity to stallion owners that will provide visibility for their sires through an event created for the occasion: The days of SF Stallions, which will run on February 19/20 in Saint-Lô.

Given the current health restrictions and in the light of information available to the organizing committee it was decided not to organize a Saint-Lô sport horse stallion fair in 2021. In fact, the uncertainty still governing our lives does not allow professionals and members of the public to gather at a show in February in the regular format that we've come to know (trade fair, presentations, competition classes....).

However, the SF studbook championship for three-year-old stallions that joined this annual show in 2020, has been maintained and enlarged. Scheduled to be live-streamed over the two days, it will showcase the stallions and allow breeders and riders to discuss and build the future of equestrian sport.

Highlights will include: the three-year-old SF stallion championship; the conclusion of the 'H' generation classic cycle that took place during the Fall; the Masters of SF stallions (four-, five-, and six-year-olds); a 1m35 class reserved for seven- and eight-year-old stallions; plus a 1m40-1m45 class reserved for performance stallions aged nine and over. These two latter classes are reserved for SF stallions, approved SF, and horses for whom approval is pending.
