World Champion for the Westfalian studbook, Sascinora NRW emerged as the radiant winner of the six-year-old age-group final of the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken last week under the saddle of Katrin Eckermann.

Sascinora NRW (Stakkato Boy RM x Firth of Lorne) – bred by Otmar Eckermann and owned by Christian Glanemann – ascended to the top of the podium with her rider, Katrin Eckermann, following a fabulous jump-off round, and deserved congratulations on this great success.
Eckermann was, in fact, prolonging her reign as the six-year-old champion rider, having won last year: “I am very proud. It’s so special as my father (Otmar Eckermann) is the breeder of Sascinora NRW. He bred her mother as well. Christian Glanemann bought her when she was five years old, and I’m very happy with how she absorbed everything, considering she doesn’t really have that much experience at this level yet.”..
