Weltmeyer and Stakkato Prizes awarded in Verden

The names of the best young Hanoverian stallions awarded with the Weltmeyer and Stakkato Prizes this year have just been announced. Multiple winners of the Weltmeyer Prize. which has been awarded to dressage stallions: Despacito, Destacado (see photo), Dostojewski, Finnigan and So Unique. The breeders of the first three stallions were honoured at the show of the privately owned stallions in Verden, while Finnigan and So Unique's breeders were unable to attend and will receive their awards at a later date. The Stakkato Prize was awarded in front of a packed Niedersachsenhalle audience to Karl-Henning Rollwage, for Stakkolensky – coincidentally, a son of the sire after whom this trophy was named.  These young stallions are among the most successful Hanoverians in Germany and proved themselves impressively during their performance tests.
