Around 60 bids were placed online for Valentin (Vitalis x Fürstenball), bred and consigned by Enrico Messelis, Kefferhausen, but it was finally a US customer who secured the chestnut foal for €52,000. This was the second time that breeder Enrico Messelis had a top foal, after the full sister of Valenin's dam was sold three years ago.

This small collection of 19 dressage fillies and colts saw great demand. Wilken Treu, managing director, said, "This is already the third Verden Online Auction within four week. "These regular events enable us to offer constant sales under the current conditions to our breeders as well as to our existing and new customers."

Already next Saturday the Verden Online Auctions will continue. From June 10-13 when top-class showjumping foals will be offered. Two weeks later, from July 1-4, a further collection awaits new owners, ahead of riding horses on July 18.
