The Westfalian Summer Auction offered 41 riding horses for dressage and showjumping for sale. At an average price of €18,162, 83% of the horses offered found new owners, with the highest bid of the day being placed for Caressini daughter, Cellini, who will move to her new home in Belgium for €48,000.

The 41 auction candidates had been stabled at the Westfalian Studbook for just under two weeks so they could be viewed and test ridden by interested buyers. From promising young horses that have only recently been started under saddle to experienced partners ready for immediate starts in competitions, the lot was versatile. Bidding on the auction candidates had been open prior to the sale day. Interest from buyers, especially those from abroad, was strong.
Of the young horses offered for the dressage and showjumping arenas, 34 found new owners, and with an average price of €18,162 for the sold horses, the Westfalian Studbook achieved a total turnover of €617,500. Ten of the sold horses reached a hammer price of over €20,000. The young horses from Westfalia were also in demand internationally, with 16 horses ready to travel beyond Germany’s borders.
The top price of the entire auction was achieved by an experienced showjumping horse. Head number nine, Cellini (Caressini x Almox Prints J: breeder: Ivo Auer, Wangen; exhibitor: Beerbaum Stables GmbH, Hörstel), has already achieved numerous international placings. Excellent conditions for the new owners from Belgium to continue a successful 2026 competition season. After 33 bids, long-standing clients secured the winning bid at €48,000 .
