The 'Olympic' collection of the inaugural Exclusive KWPN Jumping Foal Auction will be recorded as a great success as the high-quality foals were appreciated by foreign investors, who purchased eight of the 13 foals.

However, it was a nephew of Explosion W (Chacco-Blue), called Reaction W van't Studutch who claimed the price highpoint, sold to Sweden for €32,000.

Radelia van de Keihill, a filly by El Barone III Z out of Grand Prix mare Cardelia, fetched €20,000 – sold to a Hungarian buyer, while Roulette ES (Emerald van't Ruytershof), a daughter of the 1m50 mare A.Vaantje R, is leaving for Lithuania for €17,000.

On average, the foals generated more than €12,500 apiece, with almost 80% being sold. According to Wim Versteeg: “We can say that this auction seems to meet the need. The collection stood out because of the interestingly bred foals, all from a good dam line. This is well received by showjumping horse enthusiasts, with a striking number of foreign bidders joining in tonight. This first edition was a success and worth repeating."
