The most important competitions organized by the Polish Horse Breeders’ Association (PZHK) include the Polish Young Horses Championships (MPMK) in individual equestrian competitions.

From September 12-15, PZHK planned the Polish Championships of Young Horses in all three disciplines – jumping, dressage and eventing – in Stragona Strzegom. However, despite the organizers’ best efforts, inclement weather conditions and pessimistic forecasts for the following days made it impossible to hold various tests, which prompted the decision to postpone the dates of both the eventing and dressage competitions. Now, the MPMK in eventing will be held September 19-22 in Strzegom, while the in dressage will be held October 11-13 at KJ Lider in Radzionków.
Although the weather conditions were challenging, the good ground on the competition site allowed the MPMK jumping championship to thankfully go ahead. The format for six- and seven-year-old horses was shortened and held over two phases, with the winners in these two categories being determined after the first semi-final and a final.
The most exciting final was in the group of seven-year-old horses with Polish passports, where the final order was decided by the competition. The best stallion was Bueno Chico (Bijou-Be OLD [OS] - Brittany SP x Seigon SP) ridden by Anna Mikiewicz. The also bred and owns the winning horse.
The title of first runner-up was won by the mare Herona (If du Reverdy [SF] - Hesja SP x Liban SP), ridden by Jan Bobik. This Polish Sport Horse (SP) mare, bred at the Nowielice Stud, belongs to Alicja Breitenbach. The podium in this category was closed by Sobieski Star (Donald Z - Super Surprise OLD [OS] x Sanvaro OLD [OS]). The SP stallion was presented by Michał Jóskowiak, and was bred and is owned by Zbigniew Kosiski. The competition for Polish-bred horses was held under the patronage of OptiFeed horse nutrition company.

Foreign 7yo

In the group of seven-year-old horses with a foreign passport, only King Clinton (Kingsroad - Doha x Clinton I), ridden by Vitali Charadnik, competed. The owner of this Holstein stallion is Wioletta Kosicka, and he was bred by Andreas Kosicki. The competition for foreign-bred horses was held under the patronage of the Świat Koni portal...
