The first ‘best opportunity’ of the year to purchase a talented riding horse is offered by the Verden Auction Online in January. The 2026 winter edition includes a carefully selected lot of talented dressage and show jumping horses. In addition, there are five unridden youngsters. There is also a new feature: for the first time, the bid-up will start on a Sunday, namely on 25 January at 2 p.m. (CET)

The 56 dressage and 16 show jumping horses have moved into their stalls at the Niedersachsenhalle facility and can be viewed during daily training sessions and test ridden by appointment from now until Saturday, 24 January. Customer advisors are on hand to provide expert assistance in selecting the right horse. Test rides take place in the quiet atmosphere of the warm-up halls.

The first best opportunity to secure a highly talented dressage horse at the beginning of its career is head number one. Born in 2022, Tobita by Toto Jr./Fürst Heinrich (breeder and exhibitor: Jan Crome-Sperling, Lutter) is an extravagant young dressage horse of the highest standard. The shiny black dressage gem has already impressively proven this with victories in riding horse tests.
