Top price for son of Benicio

The 19th DSP Stallion Days online auction ended with a bang, seeing bids from over 20 nations and exciting bidding duels, sometimes with as many as nine stallions on the block at the same time.

For the second year in a row, Franz Galneder from Taufkirchen presented the top price with the licensed Benicio son, Don Diamond. The dark chestnut is the full brother of 2021 licensing winner, Best Future who sold for €326,000. The stallion will move into the training hands of Anna Catherine and Andreas Schöffner – long-time clients of the training stable in Löningen.

Second in the price ranking is the premium stallion from the first crop of Fürst Samarant out of a dam by Lissaro (exhibitor: Mathieu Beckmann), who went under the hammer for €245,000 to a customer from Belgium.
