The 2022 Swedish Warmblood Elite Foal Action will be presented in a hybrid format during the SWB Equestrian Weeks. Bids can be placed both online via ClipMyHorseTV and on-site in Flyinge where the foals will also be presented LIVE. The dressage foals will be auctioned on Friday, September 30, and jumping foals one week later on Friday, October 7.

The SWB Elite Foal Auction will take place for the 15th consecutive year in 2022, and we can safely state that foals selected for the previous auctions have proven to be of excellent quality. Several elite foals have been contenders in the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, while several have made their mark in sport, including: Evanescence (2011: Corlensky G - Millenia x Levantos II, bred by Maria Hallbert) and China con Kannan F (2012: Kannan G - Diamant v/t Dauwhof x Chin Chin – Eva Gudmundsson) have both been both successful in 1m50 showjumping, and Dagny VT (2014: Durrant - Boloma Paulowna x Verdi – Maria Larsson) under the saddle of Niklas Arvidsson recently placed in the Falsterbo Showjumping Derby in mid-July.
The elite dressage foals have been equally successful. Several were exported to the USA where they are on their way towards S-class dressage. Attraction (2011: Tailormade Temptation - Fascia [SWB] x Highlander – Fredric Bondéus) has international placings in young rider classes and recently competed for Denmark in the Nordic Baltic Championships. Last but not least, Vividus QRE (2015: Zaladin MI - Dittrich [SWB] x Don Charly – Christian Påhlsson) has been praised for his talent and rideability by Cathrine Dufour and is on track to be her new Grand Prix mount.
According to Helén Uddefors, CEO of SWB; “We always aim to present our customers with foals of superb quality, that are prospects for becoming ambassadors in sport and are a testament to our solid Swedish breeding. The selection committee knows our Swedish mare lines exceptionally well and always pinpoint foals of talent, generating international interest.”..
