During the stallion performance tests in Schlieckau, Neustadt-Dosse, and Adelheidsdorf, seven Marbach state stud stallions successfully passed their 50-day test, including the dressage Trakehner Giuliani (Berlusconi) in Schlieckau who finished with a score of 7.63.
However, it was the stallion, Quite Great, who finished his performance test with a dream grade of 8.88. Quite Great finished his stallion performance test with a dream grade of 8.88. By Quite Easy I, out of main stud mare Grande Nation (Capitol I), Quite Great shone throughout his test, earning excellent marks. The judges awarded a total of 9.0 for his character traits and willingness to perform, as well as for his excellent canter and consistent jumping manner seven times. He also received a grade of 8.75 from the foreign riders, validating their first-class riding experience. Quite Great has already successfully competed in young-horse and dressage tests under the saddle of service manager Melanie Lott during the 2020 tournament season. Quite Great will also strengthen the line-up of Marbach jumping stallions in the coming breeding season.
Bred by ZG Horst and Isabel Ebert, Giuliani finished his stallion performance test with a grade of 7.63, receiving ‘good’ for jumping, walk, and willingness to perform, with ‘very good’ for character/temperament.
