The Pferdezuchtverband Baden-Württemberg e.V. finished this year’s auction with a high price record of €42,000 (US$49,439), paid for Die Tänzerin.

Interest was keen even before the auction started for this filly:  Die Tänzerin (Dynamic Dream – La Merry x Le Mans) bred by Kurt Fink from Ulm, and the bidding was thrilling until Hendrik Schulze-Rückamp's hammer came down for a telephone buyer.  It was a thrilling bidding, that was finished by phone. Hendrik Schulze-Rückamp’s hammer went, for a price that has never before been reachedin Riedlingen.

The modern colt Perfect Match (Pegase van't Ruytershof – Klein Kimberly x Adagio de Talma) from Eugen and Tobias Kälberer in Hattenhofen sold for €18,500 (US$21,777) to a stable in Baden-Württemburg, that is also the new owner of Faizah (For Treasure VDL – Cheyenne Blue x Chatender), bred by Boris Gruber. Meanwhile, ,Just Queen (Jovian – Donna Petrolina x Delatio) bred by Simone Späth from Oetwil in Switzerland changed hands for €16,500 (US$19,422). Swiss interest is always high, and buyers purchased three foals, plus one being bought online from Belgium. Twelve of the 49 sold foals reached prices over €10,000 (US$11,771), so overall a very satisfactory result.
