Norbert Freistedt appointed Breeding Director: Following the retirement of the two breeding directors of the Baden-Württemberg Horse Breeding Association, Manfred Weber and Dr. Carina Krumbiegel, due to age and other commitments respectively, Norbert Freistedt has been appointed breeding director effective March 2026. Together with his competent and motivated team, he will ensure that breeding support and consultation continue in the usual reliable manner.

Norbert Freistedt previously served as breeding director at his former employer, the Saxony-Thuringia Horse Breeding Association. His roles as managing director and marketing director remain unaffected. Meanwhile, the application process for the breeding director position with the state of Baden-Württemberg is in full swing.
