ECCO, Blue Hors, Stutteri Ask and Longines have today been presented as the first major commercial partners of the FEI World Equestrian Championships in Herning 2022. The official logo was also published during a reception at VM Herning 2022's new premises today. The Municipality of Herning and Sport Event Denmark have supported the event from the outset.

The FEI World Equestrian Championship in Herning 2022 will be the largest international equestrian championship in Denmark ever, as well as the largest sporting event on Danish soil in 2022. Denmark is honored to host this World Championship, comprising four disciplines: dressage, paradressage, showjumping and vaulting. The MCH Exhibition Center Herning, MCH Arena, and Jyske Bank Boxen will provide the venues for this prestigious event.

"Although we are challenged because of Covid-19, we are actively working on the preparations for the World Championships. There are many parts that need to be assembled and many appointments we need to have in place, but we are encountering great enthusiasm and support. It is wonderful to experience," says one of the organizers, Casper Cassøe.

The FEI has changed the format of the World Equestrian Games from eight disciplines under one roof, to the possibility of separate locations hosting one or more disciplines. The FEI awarded Denmark the dressage, showjumping, paradressage, and vaulting disciplines their annual meeting in November 2019. The FEI emphasized that they had chosen a sure winner as the Danish Equestrian Federation, the Municipality of Herning and Sport Event Denmark, alongside the organizers Casper Cassøe and Jens Trabjerg, have the experience and framework to make the FEI World Equestrian Championships a successful world-class event.
