The 16-year-old Lissaro van de Helle (by Lissabon x Matcho AA x Garibaldi II, breeder Jürgen Dittmer), owned by the Pistner family, was recently retired from sport.  In 2008 the stallion demonstrated his versatility by scoring both 9.52 for dressage and 8.79 for showjumping at the Münster-Handorf 30-day performance test.
Ridden by Claudia Rüscher, the stallion became a triple Bundeschampion winner, while in 2010 he claimed silver as a five-year-old at the FEI-WBFSH World Breeding Championship for Young Horses in Verden.
As a breeding stallion Lissaro van de Helle allready sired licensed sons including Lilliano, Labbadio, Lassaro and Louis d'Or Gold. He also sired 22 state premium daughters. Junior rider Valentina Pistner is a gold medallist with her other horse Flamboyant (Fidertanz x De Niro) but never shone internationally with Lissaro. The stallion will stay at the Pistner's yard as the family plans to continue his breeding career.
