According to the current rankings of the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH), the best jumping horse recorded with our Polish Sport Horse stud book (PZHK) is the gelding Kathmandau sp (Zinedine [KWPN] - Kleopatra sp x Samurai M [KWPN])

Bred by Agnieszka Sztandar-Sztanderska, Kathmandau belongs to his rider Marek Wacławik, the rider’s mother, Anetta Orlicka, and his fiancée Oliwia Grabowska.
Marek Wacławik has known Kathmandau almost since birth as the Polish showjumper had the pleasure of riding his father; the stallion Zinedine (Guidam [SF] - Unadonja [KWPN] x Heartbreaker [KWPN]) – a paternal grandson of the legendary Quidam de Revel. Wacławik highly appreciated the character and great jumping ability of the small chestnut horse. Among the greatest achievements of this pair was victory at CSIO Sopot 2011 in the competition for young horses.
Zinedine ‘caught the eye’ 13 years ago of Agnieszka Sztandar-Sztanderska, who runs her own horse breeding farm in Pieki near Białystok. Thanks to the help of Hubert Szaszkiewicz and Marek Wacławik, Zinedine’s semen was transferred to Podlasie to the PZHK sp mare Kleopatra (out of Kassandra sp x Grandioso sp), who had previously competed with her breeder in eventing and in the four-year-old national dressage championships...
