After the brilliant start of the Holsteiner foal auctions of 2023 at the German Derby in Hamburg, the next highlight is already on the auction calendar: On June 10, 21 foals are looking for new owners as part of the Holsteiner horse days with the state championships and the association mare show in Elmshorn.
And the collection is impressive - the candidates stand for highly interesting genetics in terms of breeding and sport. For example, catalog number 1, Cappuccino v. Cahil Untouchable. The granddam of this colt produced several athletes who were successful at the highest level - including Oak Grove's Carlyle by. Casall, who won the Grands Prix of Rotterdam, Valkenswaard (NED) or the Nations Cup in Vancouver (CAN) with Daniel Coyle (IRL). The own performance of mares has become more and more the focus of breeders in recent years and so catalog number nine, a filly by. Crack Casall named Rosalie, with Canadia I.Z. a mother with successes in 1m50 showjumping under Clarissa Crotta (CHE). With Chirico (catalog number 11), another Crack offspring from a Del' Arko d'Henvet dam is on the auction floor: This stallion is a direct relative of the World Championship and World Cup horse Quno by. Quo Vados I, the top horse of the young Swiss Edouard Schmitz. Two dressage foals enrich the lot: Catalog number 15 named Gucci, descended from the world champion Glamourdale (Charlotte Fry/GBR) out of a Zhivago dam. And the catalog number 16, Idol v. Infantino, out of a Borsalino dam and further connected via the star sire Fürstenball. The auction will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. CET in hybrid format at Herbert Blocker Platz. In advance, the foals will present themselves live for the first time at 1:00 p.m.
All candidates can be viewed with photos, videos and detailed family records at www.holsteiner.auction. Of course, Felix Flinzer (Phone: 0162-3493942) will answer all questions about the auction and of course about the foals themselves at any time.
