A total of 24 riding horse foals with dressage-oriented pedigrees were offered during the Westfalian online auction. The top price was achieved by the Bonds/Franziskus daughter Bonjour, number 1, who was worth 61,500 Euros to her new owners. On average, the foals sold for 10,740 Euros.
'Impressive' best describes Bonjour, a Bonds x Franziskus daughter bred and exhibited by Bernhard Ilting-Reuke. Her type and movement quality was convincing from the outset, and the granddam of the beautiful filly is St.Pr.St. Seniorita Meyer – dam of licensed Bundeschampion Fynch Hatton as well as the S-successful Fürstenball sons Fürst Magic and Gut Wettlkam's Fürst Donnerhall. Some 17 bidders were vying to purchase Bonjour, including parties from Germany and the Netherlands, but this young talent will make her new home at Vorwerk Stud after the hammer fell at €61,500.
The most popular colt of the evening was Kompliment, a son of the Kjento, who showed outstanding movement quality. His dam-sire is also the Grand Prix successful Franziskus, and he will move to Bavaria for €27,500.
On average, customers invested €10,740 in their new dressage foals, with 87% sold.
