The Hannoveraner champions for dressage and showjumping horses were crowned have been crowned. The best young dressage horses are Fürst GG, Jupiter BC, and Titania K, while jumping honours went to Dias, Copa Cabana, Quick Lady and Diarello FRH.
The seven- and eight-year-old dressage horses kicked off the final competitions on Friday. Last to go, Titania K (Top Gear x Prestige Pilot: bred by Willem Klausing GbR, Diepholz) under the saddle of Leonie Richter entered the arena victorious from the preliminary round, confirmed her performance once again and took the title. Alissimo (Asgard’s Ibiza x Belissimo M: Dorothee Heitmüller, Nienburg) and Franziska Haase claimed silver. Royal Black Diamond (Rotspon x Laurentio: Ralf Zierke, Braunschweig) with Jessica Lynn Thomas took the bronze medal.
One day later, Leonie Richter celebrated her second title at the Hannoveraner Championships, this time riding the six-year-old Jupiter BC (Jovian x Fürst Romancier: Gestüt Greim, Bärnau). The expressive dark bay also completed an HLP qualifying test, winning ahead of Donicio (Don Martillo x Benicio: Horst Rosenblatt, Bochum), who once found a new owner at the Verden Foal Auction. In Elmlohe, he was ridden by Melanie Klein, the dressage rider from Schleswig-Holstein who claimed her second ribbon in third place in the saddle of Designer (Da Costa x Don Frederico: Bernd Hinck, Deinstedt).
A complete horse with charm and elegance: Fürst GG (Fürst Romancier x Sandro Hit: Gerold Gögele, Bleckede) dominated the field of five-year-old dressage horses with Kira Goerens-Ripphoff. Second place went to Found a Dream, a son of For Final x Scolari (Bernd Eufinger, Brechen) and Jana Marie Thamm. Sinato (Secret x For Romance: Dr. Christine Feichtinger, Vaduz/LIE) and Thomas Schulze completed the podium in third place.
To the cheers of the crowd, showjumper Diarello FRH (Diamant de Semilly x Cascadello: Stefan Aust, Armstorf) and Tim-Uwe Hoffmann deservedly won the seven-year-old title. The dark bay already has several titles to his name, including two victories in the Hannoveraner Show Jumping Masters and being part of the winning Hannoveraner team at the WBFSH Studbooks Jumping Global Champions Trophy in Valkenswaard.
