GERMANY (by Jean Llewellyn/press release) Blessed with an appealing personality and dynamic movement, the Celle State Stud sire Londontime (Londonderry - Wieneria x Walt Disney I) was recently awarded the 2015 Grande Prize.

Bred by Christina Hellwege-Tiedemann from Oberndorf, Londontime was recently honoured with the Grande-Prize at an awards ceremony that took place during the Verden Auction on March, 28.

Since 2009, the Grande Prize has been dedicated to a stallion between the ages of 10 and 14 – an important stage in the life of a stallion. It is during this period that the first secure information about a stallion’s genetic properties can be compiled and analyzed, as his eldest offspring can then be judged under a rider. The prize is awarded to the breeder of the stallion, and the name is in recognition of the legendar y stallion Grande, and his valuable inheritance...
